Carl Nieberding Event & Maintenance Coordinator

A certified master electrician by trade, Carl has spent years working in management before finally retiring in March 2013. In his free time you'll likely find him on his boat at the lake, building something in his new shop, or playing with his grand-daughter. More importantly, Carl has gained a new passion for volunteering in the community, and among his favourites are Rodeo Magic and the Canadian Finals Rodeo. In the future, he's hoping to be a contributing member of two CFR committees (Access Control & Rodeo Magic). With his vast experience volunteering at various events around the City, Carl is sure to bring his enthusiasm and wealth of knowledge to our team.

Carl is a true jack of all trades! A true perfectionist by nature, you can rest assured that all your signs will be put up meticulously and be properly maintained. Keep an eye out for Carl - you’ll likely be seeing him putting up your "For Sale" sign or at your next local community event!

Mariel Kleparchuk Marketing Director

Mariel has her Masters in Education and has spent the last six years as a teacher with the Edmonton Public School Board. Over the past year, Mariel’s career as a teacher took a back seat as she welcomed her first child to the world - an amazing little girl who ignited Mariel’s appreciation for everything mommy related. You’ll likely find Mariel and her little bundle of joy shopping at the local farmer’s market, walking on the trails, or hanging out at Jubilee Park.

As a teacher, Mariel was responsible for creating environments that promoted community and learning. We're fortunate to have her join our team and we plan on taking advantage of these skills by having her facilitate our online/virtual environments that keep you informed of matters involving Spruce Grove and beyond. Mariel’s outgoing personality, and contagious passion for all things ‘Grove’ related, makes her the ideal person to keep you all connected.
